Welcome to The Glass Universe (“Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, products, and services. By engaging with The Glass Universe, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Estimates & Pricing

  • All estimates are valid for 10 calendar days unless otherwise specified.

  • Quotes are based on information provided at the time of the estimate. Any changes in design, material, or measurements may result in revised pricing.

  • Sales tax and any applicable regulatory fees will be added to the final invoice.

2. Deposits & Payments

  • A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to initiate any custom fabrication or material order.

  • The remaining balance is due immediately upon project completion unless otherwise stated in writing.

  • Accepted forms of payment include: [List accepted methods, e.g., credit/debit, e-transfer, cash].

  • By providing your payment information, you authorize The Glass Universe to charge your card for the agreed-upon amount unless alternate arrangements are made in advance.

3. Customer Responsibilities

  • Clients are responsible for ensuring the work area is accessible and clear of obstructions prior to installation.

  • Existing fixtures, tiles, or furnishings that must be removed or worked around are not the responsibility of The Glass Universe unless expressly agreed upon.

  • Damage to tiles, drywall, or other non-glass surfaces during installation will not be covered under warranty.

4. Scope of Work

  • The Glass Universe specializes in glass and mirror solutions, including shower enclosures, mirrors, railings, and custom designs.

  • Work is limited to installation and fabrication of glass and related hardware. Electrical, plumbing, carpentry, or tiling are not included unless noted in writing.

  • All custom work is final. Returns are not accepted for custom-cut glass or hardware.

5. Warranty & Limitations

  • We offer a limited lifetime warranty on craftsmanship for the original purchaser.

  • Glass and hardware warranties are subject to manufacturer terms.

  • Warranty does not cover:

    • Accidental damage, misuse, or improper maintenance

    • Surface scratches or wear from cleaning

    • Silicone aging or discoloration

    • Oversized glass flexion or bowing (e.g., mirrors larger than 60″x96″)

To make a warranty claim, please contact us at 437-971-7254 with photos and proof of purchase.

6. Media Release

By hiring The Glass Universe, you grant us the right to photograph, video record, and use images of your completed project for promotional and marketing purposes. This includes use on social media, website galleries, and printed materials. If you wish to opt out, please notify us in writing before the installation.

7. Cancellations & Delays

  • Cancellations after the deposit are subject to forfeiture of deposit.

  • Project timelines are estimates and may be affected by weather, material supply delays, or other unforeseen conditions. We will communicate updates promptly.

  • The Glass Universe is not liable for incidental or consequential damages due to installation delays.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Glass Universe shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our products or services.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein.
